What would we have done without you all?
29 12 07 - 11:57 Over the last few weeks, when friends and family have really rallied round us to help us move out of Leeds, it has occured to Chris and myself that the help we have received, and the further offers of aid, have been overwhelmingly large. I am sure if I sat down and wrote an individual thank you list to all who have contributed so far to this adventure, I would be here for an embarassingly long time. I would also probably cry. A lot.So you'll have to forgive us and wait until we are able to repay you all. I am very aware that this wouldn't be happening without you all.
I am looking forward to updating you all over the next few weeks. So far, we are safely arrived in Hertfordshire, and are sorting through those possessions bundled into the hire car in order to meet the property inspection deadline. How many tubes of toothpaste does an african house mistress need exactly? Why do we still have a marble chopping board? Where exactly did Chris' multiple bags of "paperwork" spring from?
The mission continues...
